About LRRF

The Livelihood Recovery and Resilience Fund (LRRF) is a key initiative of the Self-Employed Women's Association (SEWA). Housed within the SEWA Trade Facilitation Centre (STFC), LRRF is a critical intervention for women workers of the informal economy in Indian. With a focus on poverty alleviation, gendered financial inclusion, and building climate resilience, LRRF is a revolutionary financial instrument that uses blended finance mechanisms to address the gaps in climate action and financial inclusion.

Position Overview

We are seeking two dedicated and dynamic Project Coordinators to join the LRRF team. The Project Coordinators will play a crucial role in managing the implementation of various LRRF initiatives aimed at supporting SEWA members. They will coordinate with local stakeholders, track project progress, and ensure effective delivery of financial inclusion and climate resilience programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage day-to-day operations of LRRF projects
  • Communicate with SEWA members, District Associations, and grassroots leaders to ensure the smooth implementation of all LRRF objectives
  • Monitor project timelines, deliverables, and budgets, ensuring adherence to project goals.
  • Collect and analyse data on project outcomes, and assist in preparing reports for donors, government agencies, and other partners
  • Facilitate capacity-building workshops for SEWA members as per the specifications of the ongoing  project
  • Coordinate emergency response efforts during climate shock events by supporting the disbursement of relief packages and recovery loans.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in social work, business administration, development studies, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in project management, preferably within the NGO or development sector.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluency in English and Gujarati is required.
  • Strong understanding of financial inclusion, microfinance, or climate resilience initiatives is highly desirable.
  • Experience working with grassroots organizations and communities is a plus.

Manager (Dry Waste Management Operations) VCC

Job Description for Manager (Dry Waste Management Operations) VCC:

Positions : 01; preferably female candidate

We are seeking an experienced Manager to oversee our dry waste management operations/ MRF/ VCC. She or he will be responsible for managing onsite waste management operations – Sourcing & dispatches, staff management, logistics/fleet management, QEHS, and documentation. She / he shall work closely with a team of Supervisor, Accountant and VCC Segregation Leaders, operations team –to support all the functions with necessary training and skill enhancement which is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Explore, Expand and facilitate new Mobile collection areas as well as manage the overall dry waste management operations at VCC
  • Manage training, development, and competence
  • Allocating, monitoring and evaluating the tasks of the MCC field leaders and monitor day-to-day sorting and baling operations, and resolve any
  • Manage logistics/fleet management to meet client requirements along with managing the vendor
  • Regular updation regarding the rates of different types of waste at retail as well as wholesale market.
  • Track and document the type and quantity of waste generated, sourced, sorted, and baled for productivity.
  • Coordinate for overall forward and backward linkages of waste.
  • Managing sale of processed waste to mapped destinations by comparing with market
  • Evaluate the inward and outward stock regularly with the supervisor.
  • Ensure QEHS compliance is fulfilled at the VCC.
  • Conduct a baseline analysis to understand the local waste management
  • To work on monthly profit & loss statements and estimation of revenue & expenditure of every month and annually

Qualifications:

  • Master’s/ Bachelor’s degree in engineering, environmental sciences or related field
  • Preferable 2+ years of experience in operations / sustainability sector
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to manage staff effectively
  • Excellent communication (local languages too) and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Willing to do field works too

Job Description for Accountant:

Positions : 01, Female

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Executive to join our team and handle a variety of accounting tasks. The ideal candidate will be responsible for tracking transactions and ensuring accurate recording of financial data. The role also involves preparing invoices, delivery challans, and Eway bills. The Accounts Executive will audit all documentation for traceability and ensure that purchase orders are processed timely.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fulfilling all the day to day accounting process activities.
  • Track debit and credit transactions and ensure accurate recording of financial data.
  • Prepare invoices, delivery challans, and E-way bills.
  • Maintaining the stock register regularly.
  • Calculate the wastage.
  • Update data in Zoho.
  • Audit all documentation for traceability.
  • Ensure timely processing of purchase orders.
  • Work closely with the accounting team to reconcile accounts.
  • Prepare and maintain financial reports, capturing PnL details.
  • Follow up on payments and resolve any issues related to accounts receivable or payable.
  • Collaborate with vendors to ensure compliance with accounting standards.
  • Timely submit MIS reports to the concerned authorities in the organization or as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in accounting or related field
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
